PosherVA Bulk Price Updating Settings

Mode

This is simple: select whether to raise (increase) or drop (decrease) your prices in bulk.

Which Price to Drop

Here you will select whether to adjust prices based on the lowest historical price or the current active listing price.

The lowest historical price is the lowest listing price you have ever had for that specific listing. This is required to participate in Closet Clearout™ Days. Learn more here.

The actual (current) price is the price right now.

Percent to Drop/Raise Price

This is the percentage amount you will drop or raise the price.
You must drop prices by at least 10% to participate in Closet Clearout™ Days. Learn more here.

Minimum Number of Likers

This allows you to exclude items from price adjustment if they do not have at least x likes.
Enter 0 if you want to adjust the price on all items. Enter 5 if you want PosherVA to skip price updating on an item that does not yet have at least 5 likes.

Subset of Items

This refers to which items you would like to update the price for.
Select all to update the price on all active items in your closet
To update prices for only certain items (by category or brand), filter your closet accordingly to show just the items you would like to send offers on. Then, select subset from page to send offers on just those items.

Price Filter: Filter items’ Lowest Historical Price Before Drop/Increase

This allows you to exclude items from bulk price updating based on price. Note that it is based on the lowest historical price (not the current price).

Enter 0 if you do not want to exclude any items from price adjustment based on price.
The minimum field is designed to protect you against lowering (or raising) your prices too much. For example, if you enter $10 in the minimum field, PosherVA will not adjust prices for items that have ever been priced below $10.
The maximum field is designed to protect you against raising (or lowering) your prices too much. For example, if you enter $500 in the maximum field, PosherVA will not adjust prices for items that have ever been priced above $500.

Filter Items’ Age in Days

This setting enables you to exclude items from price updating based on the number of days they have been listed.

If you enter 0 days, no listings will be excluded.

You could also enter minimum and maximum values. For example, if you entered 5 in minimum and 30 in maximum, PosherVA would only update prices in items listed for at least 5 days, but not more than 30 days.

Exclude Items By Condition

This setting enables you to exclude items by condition. If you select NWT and/or Boutique, the prices won’t be updated on those items.

If you don’t want to exclude items by condition, don’t check either box.

Reverse Order

If you select reverse order, PosherVA will update prices from the bottom to the top of the page.

If you don’t select reverse order, the listings will be updated in top-to-bottom order.

Why exclude items from price updating?

Many Poshers won’t exclude any items. But this tool provides you with more control over your prices and profit.

You might exclude consignment items, mystery boxes, highly valuable items, items that are already priced at your lowest, or anything that you don’t want PosherVA to update the price for.
