Auto Offer to Likers and offer rules
Auto Offer to Likers and offer rules
When someone likes one of your listings, PosherVA sends them an offer for you. You decide how big the offer is. You don't need to be online. It runs on our servers, day and night.
You can keep it simple, with one offer for every listing. Or you can add rules, so different listings get different offers. For example:
- newer listings get 10% off,
- listings older than three weeks get 20% off,
- everything from one brand gets free shipping.
What happens after someone likes your listing

- Someone likes your listing.
- PosherVA waits for the Wait time you set (for example, 5 minutes). If more people like the same listing in that time, they all get the same offer.
- PosherVA checks your "Skip some items" settings and your Excluded listings. If the listing should be skipped, no offer is sent.
- PosherVA picks the offer. It uses your rules, or your "Everything else" offer if no rule fits the listing.
- PosherVA checks your minimum earnings. If the offer would leave you less than your minimum, no offer is sent.
- The offer is sent to the people who liked the listing.
Turn it on

- Go to Automations.
- Find Auto Offer to Likers and press Manage.
- Set your Wait time and your offer (see below).
- Press Save Settings at the bottom of the window.
- Press Activate at the top of the window.
- A summary appears: Enable Auto Offer to Likers? It lists every rule and your "Everything else" offer. Check it, then press Enable Auto Offers.

Your offer: discount and shipping
Every offer has two parts.
1. A discount, in percent. For example, 20% off.
- Poshmark needs at least 10%. Smaller offers aren't shown to buyers, and the app warns you.
- The price is rounded down to whole dollars. 15% off a $47 listing is $39.95, so the offer is $39.
2. A shipping discount. Pick one:
- No discount: the buyer pays normal shipping.
- $4.99 to buyer: you pay part of the shipping.
- Free shipping: you pay all of the shipping.
The menu shows how much each option costs you.

If a listing already has a shipping discount on Poshmark, the buyer gets whichever discount is bigger, yours or the listing's.
One offer for everything
If you don't add any rules, every liked listing gets the same offer. You'll see it under Offers as Every liked listing. Set the discount and the shipping, then press Save Settings. That's it.
Different offers with rules

A rule says: "When a liked listing is like this, send this offer."
To add one:
- Under Offers, press Add a rule.
- Under When a liked listing is, choose which listings the rule is for.
- Under Offer, set the discount and the shipping.
- Press Save Settings at the bottom of the window.
You can add up to 10 rules. Each rule shows as one line that reads like a sentence, for example "listed 0–20 days" with "10% off · no shipping discount" under it. Tap a rule to change it, or tap the bin icon to delete it.

What a rule can look at
- Days listed: How long the listing has been up, in days.
- Listing price: The listing's current price.
- Skip New With Tags: Tick it if this rule should leave out NWT items.
- Department: Women, Men, Kids, Home and so on.
- Category: Inside a department, for example Dresses or Jeans. Pick a department first.
- Brand: One or more brands. No brand means listings without a brand.
To see your departments, categories and brands, press Choose departments, categories or brands. PosherVA reads them from your closet.
Leave a setting empty and the rule doesn't care about it. A rule with only Brand: Zara covers every Zara listing, whatever its price or age.
A listing must fit everything you set in a rule. A rule with Brand: Zara and Listing price up to $30 covers Zara listings that cost $30 or less.
Pick several options and any of them counts. A rule with the brands Zara and Mango covers Zara listings and Mango listings.
How the numbers work
- Both ends count. "Listing price $20 to $100" includes a $20 listing and a $100 listing.
- Leave one box empty for "and up" or "and under". Days listed 21 to (empty) means 21 days or more. It shows as listed 21+ days.
- Days listed counts full days. A listing posted today is on day 0 for its first 24 hours, then day 1, and so on. A listing up for 3 days and 5 hours is on day 3.
Example: newer and older listings
Rules:
- Rule 1: Days listed 0 to 20 → 10% off
- Rule 2: Days listed 21 to (empty) → 20% off
- Everything else: off
What each listing gets:
- Posted this morning: Day 0, fits rule 1 → 10% off
- Up for 20 days and 23 hours: Day 20, fits rule 1 → 10% off
- Up for exactly 21 days: Day 21, fits rule 2 → 20% off
- Up for 3 months: Fits rule 2 → 20% off
When a listing fits more than one rule
The listing gets the biggest discount. If two rules give the same discount, the one with the better shipping discount wins. The order of your rules doesn't matter. There's nothing to drag or sort.

Example:
- Rule 1: Women › Dresses → 15% off
- Rule 2: Brand Zara → 25% off
What each listing gets:
- A Zara dress: Rule 1 and rule 2 → 25% off (the bigger one)
- A dress from another brand: Rule 1 → 15% off
- Zara jeans: Rule 2 → 25% off
The "Never sends" warning

You might see "Never sends: rule 2 matches every listing this one does, with an equal or bigger offer." That means another rule already covers every listing this rule covers, and gives the same or a bigger offer. So this rule will never be used.
In the picture, rule 4 is for listings up 30 days or more, at 10% off. Rule 2 already covers every listing up 21 days or more, at 20% off. So rule 4 never sends.
To fix it, do one of these:
- give this rule a bigger discount than the other rule, or
- narrow the other rule so it no longer covers these listings, or
- delete this rule if you don't need it.
"Everything else": listings that fit no rule

Below your rules is Everything else. It's for listings that fit none of your rules.
- Switch on: those listings get the offer you set here.
- Switch off: those listings get no offer. You'll see "No offer — these listings are skipped."
If you have no rules, "Everything else" is your only offer. You can't turn it off then, because nothing would ever be sent.
Skip some items (these come first)
These settings are under Skip some items. Press it to open them. They apply to every listing and are checked before your rules. A rule can't override them.

- Min earnings I keep. The least you want to earn from a sale, after Poshmark's fee and any shipping discount you pay. If the offer would leave you less, no offer is sent. PosherVA doesn't try a smaller discount instead.
- Max item price. Listings priced above this get no offer. 0 means no limit.
- Min listed for … hours. Listings newer than this get no offer. Use it if you don't want offers on brand-new listings, for example 24 hours.
- Skip New With Tags items. No offers on any NWT listing.
Excluded listings is a list of specific listings that never get an offer. Press Add a listing and paste its Poshmark link. Turn on the switch next to Excluded listings so Auto Offer uses the list. The list is shared with your other automations, and changes to it save right away.
See what was sent
The Activity page shows every offer.

- Offer sent shows how many people liked the listing, the offer, the discount, the shipping, and what you earn. (rule 2) tells you which rule set the offer. If there's no rule number, the offer came from "Everything else".
- Offer skipped shows why no offer was sent, for example "no offer rule matches it", or the earnings math ("$19 offer would net $12 → under your $15 minimum").
Pause and turn back on
To pause offers, press Deactivate at the top of the settings window. Your settings stay as they are.
If you press Activate again within 24 hours, PosherVA asks what to do about the likes that came in while it was paused:
- Offer recent likers: send offers for those likes too.
- Start fresh: only offer people who like your listings from now on.
Questions
Does the order of my rules matter?
No. A listing always gets the biggest offer among the rules it fits.
Why didn't a listing get an offer?
Check these, in this order:
- Is the listing in Excluded listings?
- Does a Skip some items setting cover it (price, hours listed, NWT)?
- Does it fit any rule? If not, is Everything else switched on?
- Would the offer go below your Min earnings I keep?
The Activity feed shows the reason next to each skipped offer.
Why did my rule numbers change?
Rules are numbered from the top. Deleting a rule moves the ones below it up by one. The Activity feed keeps the number the rule had when the offer was sent.
When do my changes start?
From the next likes after you press Save Settings.
What's a good place to start?
A small discount on new listings and a bigger one on older listings is a common setup. Many sellers keep their best discount for the Bulk Offers automation once a week, rather than sending it the moment someone likes a listing.
