What You Need to Know About Poshmark’s New Relisting Policy
📢 Update: Poshmark Has Removed the Excessive Listing Removal Policy
🔄 What Changed?
Back in May 2025, Poshmark introduced the Excessive Listing Removal Policy, which restricted how often you could delete and repost the same or similar items. Sellers who relisted items less than 60 days old risked reduced listing visibility, warnings, or account action.
After more than a year of seller feedback, Poshmark reversed it. In their words, the Seller Community "made it clear how much this policy weighed on day-to-day inventory management."
As of July 23, 2026:
- There is no penalty for deleting listings, at any age
- There is no restriction on how many listings you delete at once
- There is no 60-day waiting period before you can relist an item
- Poshmark now encourages sellers to refresh and relist based on listing performance, rather than waiting a fixed number of days

🤖 What This Means for PosherVA Relist & Delist
You can go back to running your closet the way that works best for your business:
- Relist items of any age. Our previous recommendation to relist only items 60+ days old was based on this policy. That recommendation no longer applies.
- Bulk delete freely. Cleaning up duplicates, removing sold-elsewhere items, or clearing out stale listings will not put your account at risk.
- "Mark as Not For Sale" is now optional. It used to be the safe workaround for young listings. It's still a useful tool if you want to keep an item in your closet without deleting it — but you no longer need it just to avoid a penalty.
We've removed the related policy warnings from the extension. If you're still seeing them, please update to the latest version.
⚠️ One 60-Day Rule That Still Applies
This part matters — not every 60-day rule went away. The one below is not a policy and carries no penalty. It's simply how Poshmark's platform works, and it's unchanged:
"Keep old likes while relisting"
Poshmark only lets likes transfer from an original listing to a new one when the original is 60 days old or more. If you have "Keep old likes while relisting" turned on in PosherVA, items younger than 60 days will be skipped. Turn the option off if you want to relist items of any age.
🆕 What Replaced It?
Poshmark is rolling out a performance-based Seller Recognition Program in October 2026. Instead of policing how you manage your listings, it rewards reliable sellers with better visibility based on metrics like shipping speed, cancellation rate, and return rate.
Note that Poshmark's separate Seller Cancellation Policy is still in force — cancelling more than 3% of your orders over a rolling 90-day period can still lead to restrictions. That policy is unrelated to listing removal.
