Low Disk Space Warning
Low Disk Space Warning
What does this warning mean?
When you see the "Disk Space Error" warning in the PosherVA extension, it means your computer's hard drive is almost full. Chrome needs free disk space to store temporary data that keeps the extension running properly.
When there's no space left, the extension may:
- Have trouble logging you in
- Fail to save your settings
- Stop working unexpectedly
How to fix it
Step 1: Free up disk space
Try these quick ways to free up space:
- Empty your Trash/Recycle Bin - deleted files still take up space until you empty the trash
- Delete old downloads - check your Downloads folder for files you no longer need
- Clear browser cache - in Chrome, go to Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data
- Remove unused apps - uninstall programs or apps you don't use anymore
- Move files to cloud storage - upload large files to Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud
Step 2: Restart Chrome
After freeing up space:
- Close all Chrome windows completely
- Wait a few seconds
- Open Chrome again
- Click the PosherVA extension icon
How much space do I need?
We recommend having at least 1-2 GB of free disk space for Chrome and its extensions to work smoothly.
How to check your disk space
On Mac:
Click the Apple menu → About This Mac → Storage
On Windows:
Open File Explorer → Click "This PC" → Check the bar under your drive (C:)
